Executive Moves: Port, Swissport, SeaCube

Cameron and Hacegaba named co-leaders; Born’s contract extended; and Doorley promoted.

The Long Beach Board of Harbor Commissioners on Monday named Richard D. Cameron as the port’s deputy executive director of planning and development andNoel Hacegaba as deputy executive director of administration and operations.
Cameron joined the port in 1992 as an environmental specialist. He became managing director of the port’s environmental planning division in January 2014. He led the division most directly responsible for the port’s signature environmental program, the Green Port Policy, and the San Pedro Bay Ports Clean Air Action Plan. Under the Green Port Policy, the division coordinates programs to improve air, water and soil quality, preserve wildlife habitat and integrate sustainability into port practices.
Hacegaba joined the port in 2010 as executive officer to the Board of Harbor Commissioners. He previously served as the acting deputy executive director and chief operating officer and oversaw the daily business activities of the port’s four main bureaus: engineering, environmental affairs and planning, finance and administration, and trade development and port operations.
Cameron and Hacegaba succeed Duane Kenagy, who had served as interim deputy executive director since May 2017 and will return to his previous role as capital programs executive.

Eric Born’s contract as president and CEO of Swissport International AG has been extended until the end of 2019.
“Given Eric’s outstanding leadership, his understanding of the airport ground services and air cargo handling industry, and his clear vision for Swissport’s future, the company will be best served by his continued leadership as HNA evaluates the strategic options for its Swiss subsidiary,” said Adam Tan, CEO of HNA Group.
Born has been serving as Swissport’s president and CEO since August 2015.

SeaCube Container Leasing Ltd. has promoted David F. Doorley to chief financial officer.
Doorley had served as treasurer and vice president of investor relations since 2010. He joined the company as a cash manager in 2000, when it operated under the name Carlisle Leasing LLC. Doorley previously was the corporate treasurer for Alstom USA.
