Executive Moves: USAT Logistics and NWSA

USAT Logistics announces half a dozen management hires and promotions, while the Northwest Seaports Alliance names operations service center and port operations heads.    USAT Logistics, a division of USA Truck, has named Matt Lacy director of regional network who will oversee development and market strategies of the company’s nine regional sales and operations centers. Lacy’s previous position as Dallas regional manager will be filled by Caleb Boyd, formerly of C.H. Robinson.
Randy Robles has been appointed UAT Logistics’ director of yield management, while Tim O’Day has been promoted to regional manager for USAT’s Southern California facility.
Additionally, USAT Logistics has hired Sig Cruz to lead its enterprise business development strategy, and Sharon Siar has joined the company from BNSF Logistics as manager of agent development.

Zachary Thomas has joined the Northwest Seaport Alliance (NWSA), consisting of the Seattle and Tacoma port authorities, to lead the operations service center, while Bob Meyer has been promoted to lead port operations and manage safety.
Prior to joining the NWSA, Thomas held various positions at Ports America, most recently as general manager in Tacoma since 2014. Meyer spent nearly a decade as a merchant mariner and several years with Wallenius Wilhelmsen Logistics, most recently running WWL’s terminal at the Port of Brisbane, before joining the NWSA in 2014.
