Executive Moves: YRC Freight, SEKO Logistics, MARS and Volga-Dnepr Airlines

YRC Freight names VPs and SEKO Logistics picks head of aerospace vertical, while MARS elects 2016 officers and Volga-Dnepr Airlines appoints global directors.    YRC Freight has named Chet Richardson, formerly Con-way Freight’s vice president of linehaul, as vice president of transportation, and Paul Lorensen, formerly Con-way Freight’s director of solutions engineering, to lead the central divisions operations as division vice president. In addition, Don Hinkle, formerly vice president of transportation at FedEx Freight, has been appointed YRC Freight’s vice president of equipment sales, and Tom Haitz was promoted to senior vice president of sales and marketing. 

   SEKO Logistics has put Bryan Lowrie, managing director, in charge of its newly created aerospace and aviation industry vertical, based in Dallas. 

   The Midwest Association of Rail Shippers has elected Michael Jones, transportation manager at North Dakota Mill, as its 2016 president, along with Michael Barth, vice president of transportation and logistics at United Sugars, as first vice president; and Harry Zander, senior vice president of Element Rail Financing, as second vice president. 

   Volga-Dnepr Airlines has appointed Axel Kaldschmidt, Faycal Boumerkhoufa, and Colon Miller to  global directors of its aerospace, humanitarian, and oil and gas businesses, respectively. All three will be based at the cargo airline’s Houston office.
