The U.S. Federal Maritime Commission (FMC) has received 11 ocean transportation intermediary license applications and changes for review.
The FMC received non-vessel-operating common carrier license applications from AllBlue Global Transport Services, Kingwood, Texas (Leslie Y. Bennett Wallace, manager); Allround Forwarding Midwest, North Olmsted, Ohio (Janice M. Pavlinsky, vice president); Logica Transportation USA, Boca Raton, Fla. (Jorge Acuna, president); and TransLink Global, Rosenberg, Texas (Mubin Malik, manager).
The agency also received NVO/ocean freight forwarder license applications from CP Global Logistics, Minneapolis (Michael Gismondi, vice president of commercial and operations); Geva Transportation, Capitol Heights, Md. (George P. Georgakopoulos, president); and Strauns Customhouse Brokers, Rio Grande City, Texas (Robert A. Vale, member).
In addition, the FMC received license applications for changes to qualifying individuals from Ambika Shipping Miami, Miami (Gabriela A. Fernandez, operations manager); D&C International Logistics Co. Ltd., Diamond Bar, Calif. (George K. Chen, chief operating officer); and MC Baker International, Houston (Karla Cartagena, secretary); and for a trade name change to B.I.G. Logistics from KFS, Fort Worth, Texas (Linda Galbraith, president).
