FMC reviews 19 OTI license applications

The U.S. Federal Maritime Commission has received 19 ocean transportation intermediary license applications and changes for review.

   The U.S. Federal Maritime Commission has received 19 ocean transportation intermediary license applications and changes for review.
   The FMC received non-vessel-operating common carrier license applications from Alonso Shipping Co., Miami (Ana Maria Segura, president); LA World Express, Torrance, Calif. (Raymond Chou, chief executive officer); Merit International Transport, Arcadia, Calif. (Yueh-Chin E. Tsai, president); and Pangea Logistics, Vancouver, Canada (Jane M. Bruner, vice president). 
   The agency received NVO/ocean freight forwarder license applications from Allied Logistics Corp., Caguas, Puerto Rico (Alberto J. Cruz, vice president); Compass Lines, Dearborn Heights, Mich. (Ali Khalifa, member); ICL Global, Linden, N.J. (Anastasia Madison, member); Skycel, Doral, Fla. (Veronica Maza, vice president); and Universal Shipping Consultants, Long Beach, Calif. (Sylvia J. Dimatteo, member). 
   The FMC also received ocean freight forwarder license applications from Air Sea America, Kent, Wash. (Donald W. Jay, president); Another World Services, St. Augustine, Fla. (Frank Koenig, president); Inter-Col Cargo Express, Miami (Yubelly B. Lopez, president); One World Cargo Solutions, Boca Raton, Fla. (Michelle Liu, operations manager); and Tecnoship Group Corp., Doral, Fla. (Jose F. Rodriguez, president).
   In addition, the agency received applications for changes to a qualifying individual from APL Logistics International Services, Scottsdale, Ariz. (Anthony M. Zasimovich, president); Aprile USA, New York (Alessia Buset, vice president); Jade International, Folcroft, Pa. (Maria A. Iovino, assistant secretary); and St. Blue & Co., Carson, Calif. (Lindy Park, president); and for a license transfer from FM Shipping, Westminster, Calif. (Ryan A. Mashaqi, owner) to FM Shipping & Auto.
