FMC reviews 19 OTI license applications

Information why an applicant should not receive a license may be given to the Office of Transportation Intermediaries.    The U.S. Federal Maritime Commission has received 19 ocean transportation intermediary (OTI) license applications and changes for review.
   The FMC received non-vessel-operating common carrier license applications from Allports Forwarding, Portland, Ore. (Del G. Allen Jr., president); Eurbridge Logistics USA, Ball Ground, Ga. (Charles D. McAllister II, member); NOSTA Logistics Corp., West Dundee, Ill. (Aaron E. Nash, chief operating officer); and Worldwide Freight System, Great Neck, N.Y. (Irene I. McLaughlin, member).
   The agency received NVO/ocean freight forwarder license applications from Avrio Logistics, Lyndhurst, N.J. (Carmelo Calabro, vice president of ocean carrier operations); Fukuyama Biagi Logistics, Napa, Calif. (Maria A. Moore, vice president of operations); Grupo Logistico De Carga USA, Miami (Amilcar E. Luna Vidal, member); and Sigma Trade Logistics Corp., Weston, Fla. (Joseph R. Caceres, president).
   The FMC also received ocean freight forwarder license applications from Ipg Network Corp., Miami (Adeniyi “Denny” Oyegunle, president); SJC Freight Systems, Buena Park, Calif. (Francis C. Choi, CEO); and TQFF Logistics, Homestead, Fla. (Christina V. Saldivar, vice president).
   In addition, the agency received license applications for changes to qualifying individuals from Air-Wave Express, Tukwila, Wash. (Seang M. Tang, president); American Forwarding & Logistics, Fort Lauderdale, Fla. (Omar L. Lacayo, container specialist); Bertling Logistics Services, Humble, Texas (Thomas Ott, president); BNBU Global, Hermosa Beach, Calif. (Fanny V. Bautista, vice president of operations); Bulkhaul (USA), Iselin, N.J. (Kevin E. Sneeden, secretary); and Panmet Group, Canton, Ga. (Kevin E. Triggs, president); for the addition of trade name Twill from Damco International, Den Haag, Netherlands (James Percival, compliance officer); and for the removal of trade name Masterpiece International from Somerset Marine Lines, Clark, N.J. (Abed Medawar, president).

Lists of licensed OTIs (applications approved, bonds in place and fully licensed) — both ocean freight forwarders and NVOs — also are available on the FMC website.
