FMC reviews 20 OTI license applications

Individuals knowing of any reason why an applicant should not receive an OTI license or amendment are urged to contact the FMC’s Office of Transportation Intermediaries.

   The U.S. Federal Maritime Commission has received 20 ocean transportation intermediary (OTI) license applications and changes for review.
   The FMC received non-vessel-operating common carrier license applications from American Shipping Services, Hasbrouck Heights, N.J. (Abed Awad, member); and Nicola Daughter & Sons, Miami Gardens, Fla. (Nicola N. Green, member).
   The agency received NVO/ocean freight forwarder license applications from Grandbelle International, Valley Stream, N.Y. (Francisca Enyaosa, CEO); Indiemodal, Carson, Calif. (Sang H. Lee, president); Matrix Forwarding, Chicago (Luigi Demaio, member); Monopoly Holdings, Houston (Bill Winter, member); and Oceanaire Liner & Logistics, Bellaire, Texas (Kevin Bardales, secretary).
   The FMC also received ocean freight forwarder license applications from Quantum Worldwide Logistics, El Segundo, Calif. (Jacqueline M. Lappico, secretary); and U Need Shipping, Romulus, Mich. (Mohammad H. Saleh, president).
   In addition, the agency received license applications for changes to qualifying individuals from Cargo Logistics Group, Columbia, Md. (Daniel F. Callaghan, secretary); Dachser USA Air & Sea Logistics, Atlanta (Dennis Grady, vice president); Danzas Corp., Plantation, Fla. (Thomas Wehle, vice president of U.S. ocean freight); Fracht FWO, Houston (Regina A. Cross, executive vice president of operations and compliance); Murphy Shipping & Commercial Services, Houston (David R. Johns, president); and Universal Shipping, Jurupa Valley, Calif. (Alberto Benki, secretary); for the addition of trade names Lunn Shipping from Car Club USA, Cooper City, Fla. (Leslie Lunn, president); and Share Logistics from OTS Global Logistics (MIA), Doral, Fla. (Gabriel Buedo, president); for license transfers to Fast Air Sea Transport Services from Fast Air Sea Transport, Kinnelon, N.J. (Richard A. San Martin, president); and LeeAnn Tyus Maritime Services from Lee Ann Tyus, Sun City Center, Fla. (LeeAnn Tyus, member); and for a name change to Charles Kendall Inc. from Evans, Wood & Caulfield Inc., Rockville Centre, N.Y. (Patrick J. Caulfield, executive vice president).
