FMC reviews 20 OTI license applications

The U.S. Federal Maritime Commission has received 20 ocean transportation intermediary license applications and changes for review.    The U.S. Federal Maritime Commission (FMC) has received 20 ocean transportation intermediary (OTI) license applications and changes for review.
   The FMC received non-vessel-operating common carrier license applications from ASAP Enterprise, North Hills, Calif. (Guillermo E. Pena, manager); Beyond Shipping Co., Oakland Gardens, N.Y. (Boao Zhang, president); Sebert Shipping, Houston (Barbara A. Semons, executive director); and Yog Global Enterprises, Streamwood, Ill. (Hitesh Patel, member).
   The agency received NVO/ocean freight forwarder license applications from ACF Global Logistics, Jackson, Mich. (Sueli R. Baker, executive vice president of international logistics); Franco Logistics, Carson, Calif. (Aseyeh Nayebzadeh, chief operating officer); Freightmate.com, Monroe, N.Y. (Milka Deutsch, vice president); Midas Shipping & Freight, Laurel, Md. (Nurudeen A. Oreagba, chief executive officer); Premier Cargo Logistics, Glen Rock, N.J. (Dong W. Lee, vice president); and Staz USA, Brea, Calif. (Seung Ho Jang, chief executive officer).
   The FMC also received ocean freight forwarder license applications from JNB Logistics, Crosby, Texas (Jamie B. West, member); and Momentum Logistics Corp., Santa Fe Springs, Calif. (Ralph Koo, president).
   In addition, the agency received license applications for changes to qualifying individuals from AMCAR Forwarding, Miami (Ricardo J. Valdes, president); Ark Shipping, Port Louis, Mauritius (Jaitly Deepak, branch manager); Damca International, Doral, Fla. (Nelson R. Montilla, president); Eagle Van Lines, Temple Hills, Md. (Ioannis P. Georgakopoulos, president); F.H.L. Logistics, Doral, Fla. (Maidel Diaz, vice president); and Traffic International Corp., South San Francisco, Calif. (Myralyn S. Ramos, assistant vice president); for a name change to Aries Worldwide Logistics from Aries Freight Systems, Houston (Jeffrey L. McIntyre, president); and for a license transfer from EFL Container Lines, Elmont, N.Y. (Chandana J. Rodrigo, president).
