FMC reviews 20 OTI license applications

   The U.S. Federal Maritime Commission has received 20 ocean transportation intermediary license applications and changes for review.
   The FMC received non-vessel-operating common carrier license applications from Blue Circle & Co., Diamond Bar, Calif. (Ping Chuan Tu, chief executive officer); Caesar International Logistics (LAX), Covina, Calif. (Ying Hu, vice president); and Prestige Shipping, Brooklyn, N.Y. (Vadim Alper, president). 
   The agency received NVO/ocean freight forwarder license applications from Herco Freight Forwarders, Medley, Fla. (Romulo F. Souza, secretary); Overseas NVOCC Corp., Miami (Claudio R. Lopez, secretary); Romax Logistics, Miami (Maximino Flores, president); and Transmodal Solutions, Covington, Wash. (James T. Brieger, member).
   The FMC also received ocean freight forwarder license applications from AC Export, Miami (Alvaro Castillo, manager); and HJM International of NY, Jamaica, N.Y. (Raymond Mandil, president). 
   In addition, the FMC received applications for changes to qualifying individuals from Barthco International, Philadelphia (Theresa Brougher, assistant vice president); CIL Freight, Tucker, Ga. (Ying Liu, president); CMA CGM Logistics USA, East Rutherford, N.J. (Stefan Weber, managing director); CR&J Logistics, Lake Worth, Fla. (Lawrence C. Freeman, vice president); Helmsman Freight Solutions, Miami (Ismael G. Diaz, vice president); Interlog USA, Minneapolis (David Canfield, president); Johanson Transportation Service, Fresno, Calif. (Danielle N. Bidegarary, vice president); and UIA Worldwide Logistics, Gardena, Calif. (Doris Ma Ling, chief financial officer); for the addition of trade name KLSS from Axima USA, Los Angeles (Michelle Carollo, manager); for a name change to Sara Foster from Sara Barnes, Bonney Lake, Wash. (Sara Foster, sole proprietor); and for a transfer of jurisdiction from Delaware to Arkansas from ABF Freight System, Fort Smith, Ark. (Stephen J. Vicary, assistant vice president).
