FMC reviews 21 OTI license applications

   The U.S. Federal Maritime Commission has received 21 ocean transportation intermediary (OTI) license applications and changes for review.
   The FMC received non-vessel-operating common carrier license applications from USG Freight, Long Beach, Calif. (Sam Taghavi, CEO); and Zim Logistics USA, Norfolk, Va. (George Goldman, president).
   The agency received NVO/ocean freight forwarder license applications from Everest Global Freight Services, Edison, N.J. (Steven Tu, president); Noble Worldwide Logistics, Charlotte, N.C. (Jillian Caron, member); SanGar Enterprise, Miami (Roxanna Garay, member); Steel Valley Logistics Ltd., Hubbard, Ohio (Joseph Siguenza, member); and UTS Cargo, Elk Grove Village, Ill. (Steven Chong, president).
   The FMC also received ocean freight forwarder license applications from JNC Logistics Services, Miami (Ingrid M. Blanco, president); and Onward Shipping & Clearing Service, Dallas (Julius O. Okunola, president).
   In addition, the agency received license applications for changes to qualifying individuals from Betalink USA, Grapevine, Texas (Scott E. Hayley, manager); Econocaribe Consolidators, Miami (Timothy M. Tudor, CEO); EgeTrans USA, Bensenville, Ill. (Sabrina Lewis, vice president of process planning and administration); O.T.I. Cargo, Miami (Timothy M. Tudor, CEO); Prime Cargo USA, Addison, Ill. (Jeymy Lira, secretary); Scan-Shipping, Keasbey, N.J. (Ozgur Gokirmak, vice president); Sebert Shipping, Houston (Soumen Majumbar, president); Topp Cargo & Logistics, Medley, Fla. (Alfredo Morillo, operations coordinator); and World Logistics Cargo, Miami (Sergio Codino, assistant branch manager); for the name change to Nippon Steel Logistics (U.S.A.) from Nippon Steel & Sumikin Logistics (U.S.A.), Shaumburg, Ill. (Nick R. Kaczmarek, assistant vice president); and for the addition of trade names Ayalex Group from Ayalex, Springfield, Va. (Alexandre T. Ayanou, member); and EZ Global Booking from Peace Global Logistics, Savannah, Ga. (Irma Henline-Glass, member).
