FMC reviews 34 OTI license applications

   The U.S. Federal Maritime Commission has received 34 ocean transportation intermediary license applications and changes for review. 
   The FMC received non-vessel-operating common carrier license applications from Alpha Global Enterprise, Valley Stream, N.Y. (Philip Lam, operating manager); Marine Express, Mayaguez, Puerto Rico (Maribel M. Rivera, vice president); Seagull Logistics, Charlotte, N.C. (Inderjeet K. Harisinghani, president); Transtek Logistics, Doral, Fla. (Gabriel de Godoy, manager); and Universal Concord Co., Santa Fe Springs, Calif. (Zhi Yong Xu, president).
   The agency received NVO/ocean freight forwarder license applications from Altex US, Eddystone, Pa. (Natalia Henao, president); Andes Logistics USA, Miami (Jacqueline Galindo, managing member); Ark Transportation Ltd., Middleburg Heights, Ohio (George Hurst, chief executive member); Embarque Tineo, Paterson, N.J. (Gilberto Tineo, managing member); Express Logistics Services, Miami (Klaus E. Minoprio, manager); Fortunella, Arcadia, Calif. (Chris Lee, vice president); Mirach Shipping, Baldwin, N.Y. (Kamran Ali, president); Mol Consolidation Service (America), Atlanta (Jeffrey M. Bumgardner, senior vice president); One Freight Logistics, Los Angeles (Hee Jung Yoo, president); Planet Distributors Corp., Hialeah, Fla. (Omar Chaya, president); SGK Ocean Lines Corp., Richmond, Texas (Sumera Sanaullah, vice president); and vmlog international logistics U.S.A., Savannah, Ga. (Carey Giffis, vice president).
   The FMC received ocean freight forwarder license applications from Export Logistics & Shipping, Oldsmar, Fla. (Antonio E. Kliniewski, president); Global Transshipping, Miami (Gus Mojica, president); JMJ Logistics, Pembroke Pines, Fla. (Jose C. Estrada, president); Transportation Insight, Hickory, N.C. (Rick Brumett, vice president); and Volta Group International, Raleigh, N.C. (Joan Atkins-Ansah, member).
   In addition, the agency received applications for changes to qualifying individuals from Action One Logistics, Bel Air, Md. (Belinda E. Richardson, vice president); CJ International, Baltimore (Shannon Alexander, secretary); Cargo Freight Services, College Park, Ga. (Alice Y. Chan, president); Global Business Link, Halethorpe, Md. (Gayton J. Thomas, chief executive officer); Icon Logistics Services, Laurel, Md. (Gbenga Yinusa, president); Maruzen of America, Dominguez Hills, Calif. (Yuji Inoue, executive vice president); Overseas Group USA, Miami (Carlos A. Sanchez, managing member); and Schooner Lines Co., Philadelphia (Mykola Chobotar, chief executive manager); and addition of trade names from Asecomer International Corp., Miami (John O.
