FMC reviews 34 OTI license applications

   The U.S. Federal Maritime Commission has received 34 ocean transportation intermediary license applications and changes for review.
   The FMC received non-vessel-operating common carrier license applications from JZ Cargo Logistics Corp., Pembroke Pines, Fla. (Joan S. Ziade, president); Malecon Shipping, Bronx, N.Y. (Arisleyda Polanco, president); Metro Box Cargo, Hayward, Calif. (Ammabelle P. Bote, member); Overland Logistics, Ephraim, Utah (Kyle S. Bailey, member); Ray-Mont Logistics Corp., Spokane Valley, Wash. (Teri Zimmerman, treasurer); Viking Corp., St. Thomas, Virgin Islands (Berisford F. Lynch, president); Columbus International Transport Co., Cerritos, Calif. (Ki Hyeon Lee, chief financial officer); In Motion Logistics, Pembroke Pines, Fla. (Michael L. DeBartolo, managing member); KYS Imports & Exports, El Monte, Calif. (Kevin Lee, president)MGL International Group, Walnut, Calif. (Shin Shin “Cynthia” Liu, president); Monfreight, Revere, Mass.    The agency received NVO/ocean freight forwarder license applications from Norse Freight Forwarding, Fayetteville, Ga. (Johnny S. Flaten, managing member); Northwestern Shipping and Transportation Ltd., Duncanville, Texas (Jackson Ehioguh, president); American International Line, Jamaica, N.Y. (Byung Ha Yoon, president); CMX Global Logistics, Torrance, Calif. (Charles W. Dobeck, member); EMIC International Corp., Dallas (Emmanuel U. Igwe, president); and Far East Freight Networks, Gardena, Calif. (Jenie Kim, president).
   The FMC received ocean freight forwarder license applications from Global Trade Associates, Marlborough, Mass. (Frank Navin, president); Jalco International Procurement, Katy, Texas (Frederick D. Coker, president); Martik, Sunny Isles, Fla. (Diana P. Alzate, managing member); and Soonest Express, South San Francisco, Calif. (Kang Y. Sun, treasurer).
   In addition, the agency received applications for changes to qualifying individuals from Barthco International, Philadelphia (Jack Bashkow, assistant vice president); Global Container Line, Kent, Wash. (Jeanne H. Sargent, vice president); Horizon Lines of Guam, Charlotte, N.C. (Ricardo F. Rodriguez, president); National Air Cargo, Orchard Park, N.Y. (Marc A. Gonzales, assistant secretary); Eagle Trans Shipping & Logistics, Hoboken, N.J. (Jose L. Ramirez, manager); and Tri-Best Logistics, Fullerton, Calif. (David S. Moon, secretary); for a name change from Ever Line Logistics, Jamaica, N.Y. (Caihong Yang, president) to Bona Logistics US; for an additional trade name of Yellow Shark Logistics from V R Logistics, Edison, N.J. (Govind “Gary” Bhagat, vice president); and Arabia Cargo from Cargo America, Houston (Ali Jabr, president); for a transfer from A&J Cargo Logistics, Miami (Jose Iglasias Jr., vice president) to AJ Freight Services; and for a license transfer for Raymond Express Corp., South San Francisco, Calif. (Raymond Wong, chairman) to Raymond Express International.
