FMC reviews 34 OTI license applications

The U.S. Federal Maritime Commission has received 34 ocean transportation intermediary license applications and changes for review.    The U.S. Federal Maritime Commission (FMC) has received 34 ocean transportation intermediary (OTI) license applications and changes for review.
   The FMC received non-vessel-operating common carrier license applications from American Courier Express, Rockville, Md. (Roy K. Azima, member); Freighters, Brooklyn, N.Y. (Ben Z. Klein, member); International Cargo Consolidators Corp., Medley, Fla. (Maria T. Rodriguez, president); MIG Express, Portsmouth, N.H. (Igors M. Ngin, manager); Rellek, Celina, Texas (Carrie M. Kinsler, member); Trublue Global, La Mirada, Calif. (Edward Lee, president); A&S Shipping Co., Doral, Fla. (Ana Hernandez, treasurer); Argon Systems, Fort Lauderdale, Fla. (Elad Nagli, operating manager); and Lara Logistics, South Plainfield, N.J. (Ramesh Krishman, member).
   The agency received NVO/ocean freight forwarder license applications from City Post Express, Fairfield, Conn. (Robert Swords, president); Global Worldwide Logistics, Cerritos, Calif. (Jimmy H. Huynh, president); Latona Logistics, Houston (Charles Kyun Cheon “Chuck” Cho, secretary); United Global Cargo, Miami (Constanza Nakamura, president); North Port Logistics, Hackensack, N.J. (Sena Kokbugur, member); Shifl.Com, Elizabeth, N.J. (Solomon Weber, member); and Union Logistics (NY), Carle Place, N.Y. (Ching K. Kam, president).
   The FMC also received ocean freight forwarder license applications from Alpha Services Worldwide, Ellenwood, Ga. (Alpha L. Kaisamba-Kanneh, president); Telkotrade Corp., Alamogordo, N.M. (Stefanie A. Bayer, secretary); and Unicorn Tire Corp., Memphis, Tenn. (Erxin Zhou, president).
   In addition, the agency received license applications for changes to qualifying individuals from Atlantic Express Corp., Bridgeview, Ill. (Kastytis Latvys, president); Exfreight Zeta, Lake Work, Fla. (Jaclyn Regoli, operations manager); Fordpointer Shipping (NY), Jamaica, N.Y. (Tommy W. Yu, president); IFF, College Park, Ga. (Christian T. Halpaus, president); Import Logistics, Aurora, Ill. (James P. Herrera, vice president); Merco Cargo, Miami (Lucas A. Meza, secretary); Varko International Corp., Medley, Fla. (Niurka Rodriguez, director); VTG Tanktainer, Hamburg, Germany (Christian Strauss, head of overseas sales); WELL Worldwide Energy Logistics, Houston (Shelby C. St. Pierre, secretary); and XPO Customs Clearance Solutions, Carol Stream, Ill. (Dominick Muzi, president); for license transfers from ArcBest International, Irvine, Calif. (Carlos Martinez-Tomatis, division vice president) to ArcBest International Inc.; and Lindsey Forwarders, Portland, Ore. (Merrill Watts, vice president) to Mark and Shaunel Brown Corp.; for a name change to NAX USA Logistics from Nakamura Air Express (U.S.A.), Los Angeles (Shiro Kobayashi, operating officer); for the removal of trade names Rolasa Miami and Aqua Logistics from Krystal Logistics USA, Miami (Carlos X. Valdano, vice president); and for addition of trade name Sobel Network Shipping from Sobel Shipping Co., Rockville Centre, N.Y. (Brian Wills, president).
