Freer named AmeriQuest’s marketing VP

   Supply chain management services firm Ameriquest has appointed Kate Freer to vice president of marketing for business services.
   Since joining AmeriQuest in 2004, Freer has led the marketing and communications strategies for AmeriQuest Business Services and its subsidiary companies, including the most recent acquisitions of COR360 and CURE Leasing & Maintenance.
   Prior to coming to AmeriQuest, she held marketing posts in the publishing industry, most recently with Information Today Inc. and the Courier-Post, a Gannett publication and New Jersey newspaper.

Located in the Washington, D.C. area, Chris Gillis primarily reports on regulatory and legislative topics that impact cross-border trade. He joined American Shipper in 1994, shortly after graduating from Mount St. Mary’s College in Emmitsburg, Md., with a degree in international business and economics.
