Pack a sweater and your passport as FreightWaves heads north of the border. Toronto will host FreightWaves’ first conference outside the U.S. this September as the Canadian city sets the stage for FreightWaves LIVE, the industry’s premier freight conference.
FreightWaves LIVE will be held Sept. 17 at the Toronto Congress Centre.
As 2020 shapes up to be a dynamic year for supply chains globally, FreightWaves LIVE provides a great opportunity to stay on top of the market’s latest trends in Freight-Tech. FreightWaves events attract industry leaders from around the world and provide exclusive networking opportunities for carriers, brokers/3PLs and shippers to interact with senior-level executives, venture capitalists, market experts and entrepreneurs.
FreightWaves LIVE will feature quick-fire demos of cutting-edge supply chain technology and inspiring discussions and presentations from the top decision-makers, biggest brands and startups from across the transportation and supply chain industries.
FreightWaves surpassed expectations in November 2019, as FreightWaves LIVE Chicago saw attendance exceed 1,500, representing a triple-digit percentage increase in registration from carriers, brokers/3PLs and shippers.
“FreightWaves’ high-tech, exciting and groundbreaking industry events in Dallas, Chicago and Atlanta attracted thousands of the top minds in transportation to discuss the future of freight,” said Craig Fuller, CEO and managing director of FreightWaves. “Our worldwide reach in the freight industry, combined with Toronto’s position as the hub of all things logistics, freight, transportation and supply chain in Canada, ensures that our first event outside of the United States will be an energizing discussion, with data, insights and information about the biggest challenges facing our industry today and in the future.”
Registration is now open for FreightWaves LIVE Toronto, and FreightWaves is accepting applications for speakers and demos.
Speakers already include Sarah Barnes-Humphrey, host of the “Lets Talk Supply Chain” podcast and blog and “The Trade Squad”; Dean Croke, chief insights officer, FreightWaves; Chris Henry, program manager for TCA Profitability Program, and Jacques DeLarochellière, president and co-founder, ISAAC Instruments, among others.
