Hanson continues Chicago warehouse expansion

This is the fourth of expansion of Hanson’s Chicago consolidation center in seven years, and the third since completing a similar buildout in 2013.

   Hanson Logistics, a specialist in refrigerated storage, will further expand its Chicago facility by adding more deep-freeze capacity.
   This is the fourth of expansion of its Chicago consolidation center in seven years, and the third since completing a similar buildout in 2013. 
   The additional 85,000 square feet will include 12,000 new 90-inch pallet positions and 14 swing-in doors, bringing the facility’s overall size to 16.5 million cubic feet, 48,000 pallet positions and 50 truck doors.
