K+N expands in Russian Far East

Kuehne + Nagel is opening an office in the Russian Far East port city of Vladivostok.
The new office will be managed by the operation in Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk where K+N started its activities in 2002 to
cater to the needs of oil and gas companies.
In addition to Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk, K+N operates two more locations on Sakhalin, one in Nogliki in the northern part of the island, and a bonded/non-bonded warehouse in Korsakov south of Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk.
“Our new office in Vladivostok provides the opportunity to strengthen and streamline the operational processes and to offer new services such as a direct access to the Russian market from the Far East rather than via Europe,” said Perry Neumann, managing director of K+N Russia and Belarus, in a statement.
