The Port of Los Angeles said it handled 736,438 TEU of containerized cargo in June, 13.89-percent more than in the same period the prior year.
Container imports rose 16.55 percent to 382,666 TEU, while exports rose 8.51 percent to 160,823 TEU in June 2014. Empties were up 13.4 percent.
