Maersk said its APM Terminals Inland Services businesses will be integrated into Maersk Logistics & Services on Aug. 1 as a next step to offer end-to-end solutions for customers and accelerate growth.
The Inland Services portfolio is a network of inland terminals around the globe consisting of 36 business units with more than 100 locations.
“Inland Services offers a vast arrange of services for both shipping line customers and landside customers,” the company said.
For shipping line customers, these include depots, container equipment maintenance and repair and transportation. For landside customers, these include integrating supply chains locally with services such as transportation, container freight stations and warehouses, depots and temperature-controlled handling and storage.
