Martin Bencher acquires tti Logistics

   Danish logistics services firm Martin Bencher Group has acquired tti Logistics ApS.
   Tti Logistics, based in Copenhagen, provides air freight forwarding, customs clearance and other logistics services.
   Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
   “Martin Bencher Group and tti Logistics have been long-term partners for many years, and with a growing focus on projects and project related cargo, there has also been an increase in air freight volumes,” said Peter Thorsoe Jensen, chief executive officer of Martin Bencher Group, in a statement. “It was a natural next step to get tti under our wings, and with their knowledge of air freight we can develop our services further — beginning with Copenhagen and Stockholm as the main centers for air freight, then adding Norway and Finland later.”
   Former owner of tti Logistics, Bjarne Laun, will continue as air freight manager at Martin Bencher.
