Materials Technical Advisory Committee meeting set

The committee advises the office of the BIS assistant secretary for export administration on technical questions affecting levels of export controls.

   The Bureau of Industry and Security Materials Technical Advisory Committee (TAC) will meet at 10 a.m. May 9 at Commerce Department headquarters in Washington, D.C., BIS announced.
   The open portion of the meeting will be accessible via teleconference to the first 20 participants on a first-come, first-served basis, BIS said.

   The closed portion of the meeting will cover “pre-decisional changes” to the Commerce Control List and U.S. export control policies, the announcement says.
