OmniTRAX links with Arrows Up

OmniTRAX Sand Holdings, an affiliate of OmniTRAX, Inc., has entered into a joint venture with bulk storage and transportation services provider Arrows Up.    OmniTRAX Sand Holdings has entered a joint venture with Arrows Up, a provider of bulk storage and transportation services.
   Terms of the joint venture were not disclosed.
   “We see the Arrows Up bulk material storage and transport solutions as a natural extension of our logistics offerings. There is significant market interest and an aligned OmniTRAX commitment to rolling out this solution,” said Kevin Shuba, chief executive officer of Denver-based OmniTRAX, in a statement.
   OmniTRAX said it is particularly interested in commercializing the Arrows Up Jumbo Bin, which can store up to 25 tons of frac sand or ceramic material. The Arrows Up Jumbo Bin replaces significant storage and transportation infrastructure, creates trucking and rail efficiencies across the supply chain, and eliminates the need for dust suppression equipment.
   Arrows Up is headquartered in Elk Grove Village, Ill.
