Pantos Logistics, Seino Transportation cooperate on parcel delivery

Third party logistics services provider Pantos Logistics has expanded its international parcel delivery business by cooperating with Seino Transportation Co., Ltd., the largest ground transportation company in Japan.
The joint service, named SP Express Co., Ltd., will be fully operational in Japan by the end of the month, the companies said. The service will be responsible for the importation, customs clearance and delivery of small parcels shipped from China to Japan.
Pantos Logistics will gather cargoes in China, as well as oversee customs clearance in Japan, before the shipments are handed off to SP Express for delivery in Japan.
“The joint venture plans to market its business to major small parcel companies whose operations are based in China, and ultimately to expand its business to outbound small parcels from Japan utilizing the networks of the two partners,” the companies said.
