Schneider enhances Phoenix operation

The nationwide trucking company has opened a new facility in Phoenix to handle its increasing freight transportation business in the Southwest.

Schneider National has opened a new facility in Phoenix to handle its increasing freight transportation business in the Southwest, the nationwide trucking company said.
The operation is located on 25 acres, and provides parking for more than 180 trailers, plus employee vehicle parking, and a maintenance building with eight service bays.
The new Phoenix facility supports a more direct route for Southwest shippers moving freight back and forth from Southern California, said Nuno Gomes, regional vice president for Schneider.
