TNT begins freighter flight to Tel Aviv

Express carrier TNT has started a five-times weekly flight between Tel Aviv and its hub in Liege, Belgium.

Express carrier TNT has started a five-times weekly flight between Tel Aviv and its hub in Liege, Belgium.
The route is flown on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays with a Boeing 737-400 freighter. The flights from Liege arrive in Tel Aviv in the morning for same-day deliveries and depart in the evening for Liege.
“The new freighter service answers increasing demand and brings several advantages to customers: fixed departure times, guaranteed uplift, later pick-up times in Israel and a smooth connection to TNT’s international road and air networks via Liege. It also allows TNT to shorten transit times for express shipments to and from Tel Aviv by one day,” the carrier said in a statement.
Shipments to and from Israel handled by TNT include machinery, electronic products, medical equipment and textiles.
