TOTE, Inc. names Greene VP

   TOTE, Inc. has appointed Philip H. Greene Jr., a retired rear admiral of the U.S. Navy, to vice president.
   After 32 years in the Navy, Greene served as the eleventh superintendent of the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy at Kings Point, N.Y. Most recently he was the U.S. Transportation Department chairman at the National Defense University in Washington.
   He will lead the company’s efforts to further government and military accounts among its maritime, logistics and services companies.
   “Our operating companies will benefit greatly from his experience and leadership,” said Anthony Chiarello, president and chief executive officer of TOTE, Inc., in a statement.
