Troy partners with Basic Warehousing in Chicago

Non-vessel-operating common carrier Troy Container Line has entered a partnership with Basic Warehousing & Distribution for container freight station services in the Chicago area.
Basic Warehousing’s Oak Grove Village container freight station will handle Troy’s outbound and inbound less-than-containerloads and full boxes for the Midwest region. The 100,000-square-foot CFS is located outside of Chicago and is adjacent to O’Hare International Airport, with access to several major highways.
“Direct exporting from the Chicagoland area to hundreds of destinations around the world, including European, South America and Asian trade lanes, will be enhanced with this new partnership,” said Patricia Fitzgerald, Troy’s chief operating officer for exports, in a statement.
