Vanguard restructures India service

Non-vessel-operating common carrier Vanguard Logistics Services announced customers will be able to book their cargo to worldwide destinations from India on the NVO’s bill of lading and have 24-hour access to the status of their cargo as it moves through its global network.
“We listened to our customers’ needs and have now structured ourselves to be able to serve them in India and beyond,” said Michael Gomez, Vanguard’s managing director for India and the India Subcontinent, in a statement.
Through Vanguard’s website, customers can access the NVO’s global sailing schedule, make online bookings, track and trace all shipments through to final destination, view and extract all documents pertaining to their shipments.
Vanguard’s long-time partner in India is Freight Systems.
