Werner says second quarter earnings up 11%

Werner Enterprises had a profit of $30.7 million in the second quarter ending June 30, 11 percent more than in the same 2011 period.
Revenue was up 1 percent to $521 million.
The trucking company attributed the better profit to “a
seasonally improving freight market, operating margin expansion and
logistics growth.”
