WFS to handle Pakistan airline’s U.K. cargo

Worldwide Flight Services has entered a three-year contract to provide cargo-handling and trucking services for Pakistan International Airlines in the United Kingdom.

   Worldwide Flight Services (WFS) has entered a three-year contract to provide cargo-handling and trucking services for Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) in the United Kingdom.
   WFS will handle export and import cargo for PIA’s wide-bodied flights at London-Heathrow, Birmingham and Manchester, connecting the airline’s U.K. customers with Islamabad, Karachi and Lahore.
   At Heathrow, cargo carried on PIA’s 10 flights a week will be managed at WFS’ facility at the World Cargocentre. WFS also operates cargo terminals at Birmingham and Manchester airports. PIA operates 10 flights a week from Manchester and four services a week from Birmingham.
