UX Specialized Logistics is a North American provider of last-mile logistics services to retail chains and e-commerce companies.

XPO Logistics has acquired UX Specialized Logistics, a North American provider of last-mile logistics services to retail chains and e-commerce companies.
The company said the purchase was valued $59 million. UX had revenue and adjusted EBITDA of $113.2 million and $8.2 million, respectively, for the full year 2014. XPO said UX has about 700 employees and contracted capacity of more than 1,600 independent carriers and installers.
XPO will integrate the UX acquisition into its XPO Last Mile division.
“This acquisition expands our network for heavy goods home delivery, where we’re already the No. 1 provider, and adds more density to our growing e-commerce logistics footprint,” said Bradley Jacobs, chairman and chief executive officer of XPO Logistics, in a statement.
XPO has been on an acquisition spree for the past two years. The third party logistics services provider and freight broker has 201 locations, about 11,500 employees, and facilitates more than 37,000 deliveries a day.
