The service features weekly sailings from Ho Chi Minh, departing on Thursday and arriving in Los Angeles 18 days later.
“Over the past 12 months we have opened 51 new direct LCL services, including eight direct Asia-to-U.S. lanes” said Joseph Goldman, director of operations at Yusen Logistics, in a statement. “This is part of our long-term freight forwarding strategy that also includes strengthening our air freight product and our domestic network.
“We are planning to grow our direct LCL product an additional 20 percent this year, with a focus on developing our transatlantic capabilities while continuing to grow in transpacific market,” he added.
