MOL KPIs mostly rise in August

   The liner carrier MOL on Tuesday released its latest North American key performance metrics through August.
   Among 13 metrics MOL publishes, the carrier improved on six from July to August, worsened on three and held steady on the others. Improvements came on in-terminal truck turn times at its Jacksonville and Oakland container terminals, lost call percentage, telephone wait times, U.S.-to-Asia documentation accuracy, and export bill of lading documentation completion rate.
   Declines came in truck turn times at MOL’s Los Angeles container terminal, U.S.-to-Asia export missed vessel connections due to rail errors, and Asia-to-U.S. documentation accuracy. All three of these categories saw MOL fail to meet its internal goals.
