Global Trading Resources joins Janel Group

Portland, Ore.-based Global Trading Resources, Inc., an international freight forwarding and customhouse brokerage, has joined Janel Group, a Lynbrook, N.Y.-based global integrated logistics solutions provider.    Global Trading Resources, Inc. (GTRI) has joined Janel Group, a Lynbrook, N.Y.-based global integrated logistics solutions provider, the companies said in a joint press release.
   Portland, Ore.-based GTRI, which is an international freight forwarding and customhouse brokerage, will continue to function as an independent business unit. GTRI’s headquarters is remaining in Portland, and its current president, Patti Iverson-Summer, will continue on as president and will join Janel Group’s team of senior advisors.
