SUPPLYLINKS HIRES DITTMANN AS VP MARKETING    SupplyLinks, the logistics start-up launched last week by Global Logistics Technologies Inc. and New Meadows Venture Partners, has named Cary R. Dittmann vice president of marketing.
   Dittmann will be responsible for building a global sales force focused on the high-tech, aerospace, heavy equipment, pharmaceutical and health care and project business industry segments, as well as B2B procurement exchanges, SupplyLinks said.
   Dittmann will report to SupplyLinks's chairman and chief executive officer David I. Beatson, who was recruited to head SupplyLinks this year after serving as chief executive for Circle International and Emery Worldwide. “Cary’s strong and proven sales and marketing background in the transportation and logistics industry will enable us to quickly recruit customers through a broad base of well-established contacts,” Beatson said.
   Dittmann has worked for Circle International as vice president of global accounts. He also worked at Emery as manager of global accounts and as director of industry group sales. Dittmann has also worked at American Airlines and Flying Tiger Line.
