Keypoint adds DAT for carrier monitoring

   Keypoint Software has integrated DAT CarrierWatch into its transportation management software in hopes of hastening the onboarding process for freight brokers and third-party logistics companies.
   CarrierWatch helps companies examine carrier safety, authority, and insurance information when considering to hire truckers. The service also monitors this regulatory information, which is publically available, for updates.
   Alongside CarrierWatch, Keypoint is gaining real-time access to DAT data, including a marketplace of loads and trucks, spot market rates, and shipper rates.
   Keypoint and DAT fall under the umbrella of TransCore, which builds transportation management and communications systems as well as providing assistance customizing and integrating them. Keypoint is its transportation management software arm, while DAT focuses on loads and bidding.
