INTTRA adds South American consolidator to network

   The ocean shipping and e-commerce portal INTTRA said Tuesday the South American cargo consolidator Craft Multimodal has entered into an agreement to join INTTRA’s non-vessel-operating common carrier network.
   Craft offers cargo consolidation for import and export services in Brazil, Argentina, Uruguay and Chile, with 180 routes throughout South America.
   Under the agreement, Craft will use the INTTRA platform to reduce manual shipment processing and improve access to shipment information. The agreement includes an accelerated implementation leveraging INTTRA’s online shipping capabilities for all of Craft’s brands, affiliates and customers.
   “Our market leadership has been achieved through our focus on exceeding our customer expectations with a constant commitment to operational excellence, information accuracy and data confidentiality,” said Bruno Crelier, corporate director of Craft, in a statement. “Leveraging the INTTRA platform gives us additional capabilities to execute against these essential elements of our company strategy.”
