Ceres names Vitolo CFO

Ceres names Vitolo CFO    Ceres Terminals has appointed John J. Vitolo as senior vice president and chief financial officer.
   Vitolo will be responsible for overseeing all accounting, finance, insurance, risk management and tax planning for Ceres and its U.S. and international group of companies.
   He began his career in the maritime industry in 1982 with U.S. Lines at the Holland Hook Terminal in Staten Island. In 1988, Vitolo joined Hapag-Lloyd America holding various positions throughout the years from vice president of finance to director of corporate operations/finance and controlling.
   In 1997, he joined Ceres as vice president of finance. After leaving Ceres, he held executive positions as vice president and CFO for manufacturers of specialty chemicals and additives where he also held several board positions. Vitolo rejoined the Ceres management finance staff as vice president of finance in 2006.
