“By investing in Mexico, MTC Holdings is planning to create the next major cargo-handling hub on the Pacific Rim,” said Steven Lautsch, MTC Holdings’ executive vice president.
MTC de Mexico was established at the end of last year and now has offices in Mexico City and Tijuana.
MTC Holdings provides stevedoring, terminal operations and related cargo handling services in 26 U.S. West Coast locations through Oakland-based Marine Terminals Corp., and six U.S. East Coast ports through MTC East.
