British Airways World Cargo management changes British Airways World Cargo has appointed David Shepherd as senior vice president of Europe and the Americas, and Tony Nothman as senior vice president of the Middle East, Africa, Asia and Pacific.

   Shepherd was vice president for the Americas region, while Nothman was head of international customer services and global key accounts.
   The two men will replace Baba Devani, the former vice president of global sales and marketing, by taking over responsibility for all commercial activity including sales, marketing and distribution, as well as managing BA World Cargo’s customer service and operational business in their respective locations. In addition, Shepherd joins Nothman as a member of the Cargo Leadership Team, responsible for the overall management of the company.

   Both men report directly to Steve Gunning, managing director of BA World Cargo.
   “The reorganization reflects the changing nature of the BA World Cargo business, highlighting the importance we place on meeting the specific needs of customers in different locations across our worldwide network,” Gunning said.
