BIS offers exporters redesigned SNAP    The U.S. Commerce Department’s Bureau of Industry and Security has launched its redesigned Simplified Network Application Process, known as SNAP-R.
   The agency said the enhanced program offers exporters more security, improved electronic document submission for licenses, user rights, and work item reuse. It also allows BIS licensing officers the ability to more efficiently conduct their licensing reviews.
   The program is available online at https://snapr.bis.doc.gov.
   “All newly assigned user accounts are established on the SNAP-R system,” BIS said in a statement. “If you have an existing SNAP user account, then you are also ready to use SNAP-R.”
