Multinational sea exercises focus on WMD    The United States Coast Guard and military counterparts from 15 nations participated in an exercise to interdict weapons of mass destruction at sea.
   During the 'Chokepoint ’04' exercise, part of the Bush administration’s Proliferation Security Initiative, military authorities intercepted a 358-foot containership pretending to be a Liberian-flagged vessel suspected of smuggling material to be used in making a weapon of mass destruction.
   The drill took place Nov. 17 about 150 miles south of the island of Hispaniola in the Caribbean Sea.
   Under the Proliferation Security Initiative, other countries agree to work with the United States to share intelligence and cooperate to intercept vessels at sea suspected of illegally shipping nuclear and other mass destruction materials.
