LLamasoft links up with Chainalytics

   LLamasoft has partnered with Chainalytics to offer the firm’s Freight Market Intelligence Consortium truckload data with LLamasoft’s solutions.
   The freight market system works by gathering shipment data from more than 100 companies and then “normalizes the cost drivers which impact overall transportation costs” to give customers a real-time portrayal of actual costs, according to a press release.
   “The benefits of membership within Chainalytics’ Freight Market Intelligence Consortiums extend far beyond benchmarking of transportation rate data,” Chainalytics’ Matthew Harding, principal of Freight Market Intelligence, said in a statement. “FMIC members will now have the additional benefit of integrating accurate and timely freight market intelligence into LLamasoft solutions, reducing set up time, increasing accuracy and allowing automated integration to a trusted source of market intelligence.”
