JCI Logistics to partner with Italian NVO

JCI Logistics to partner with Italian NVO    JCI Logistics LLC, a non-vessel-operating common carrier, said it has entered into an agreement with CFG Overseas, a neutral NVO based in Milan, Italy, to exclusively represent each other with their U.S./Italy import/export services.
   Paul Curry, president of JCI Logistics, said CFG Overseas “offers our shippers and importers a unique advantage because it has its own intra-Italy trucking operation. This means faster transit times for both the importers and exporters utilizing these services, with no third party involvement.”
   Curry said there is increasing demand from JCI customers to offer NVOCC services for both inbound and outbound trade with Italy.
   Bryan Jay, vice president of JCI said, the agreement “furthers our mutual commitment to partnering with leading companies that offer the highest quality service.”
   JCI, which offers less-than-containerload and full-containerload services on a worldwide basis, is headquartered in Chicago and also has offices in Port Washington, N.Y., and Hong Kong.
