TNT LAUNCHES E-COMMERCE BRAND

TNT LAUNCHES E-COMMERCE BRAND    TNT, the express and logistics division of the Netherlands-based TNT Post Group, has launched electronic commerce services branded TNT Loop, offering shippers end-to-end fulfillment services for e-commerce.
   TNT said the new suite of services will offer companies an avenue for developing viable business-to-business Internet commerce strategies, including the creation of online marketplaces and critical parts supply chains.
   TNT has teamed up with software maker Descartes Systems Group and order processing company OrderTrust Inc. to deliver the fulfillment services. TNT will focus its TNT Loop marketing efforts on U.S. companies wanting to use the Internet to sell to European consumers and businesses.
   Team McLaren, a Formula One auto racing team, has signed up to use the new TNT program.
