Hvide's stock will begin trading on Nasdaq Jan. 2, under its ticker symbol HVDM.
'Listing on Nasdaq means a higher profile for HMI and enhanced visibility and liquidity for the stock, as well as immediate access to the best bid and ask prices,' said Gerhard E. Kurz, president and chief executive officer of Hvide. 'We anticipate a broader and more active following among investors as a result.'
The company's warrants will continue to trade on the Over-The-Counter Bulletin Board.
