Brussels Airport boosts September cargo volumes

The Northern European airport handled 39,533 tons of cargo for the month, an increase of 1.6 percent from September 2014.    Brussels Airport posted cargo volumes of 39,533 tons in September, a year-over-year increase of 1.6 percent.
   Freighter cargo volumes for September reached 28,273 tons, an increase of 6.5 percent from Sept. 2014. Freighter cargo volumes consisted of 11,169 tons of full freighter cargo and 17,104 tons of integrator cargo, year-over-year increases of 8.2 percent and 5.5 percent, respectively.
   Belly cargo volumes during September dropped 8.9 percent from September 2014 to 11,261 tons.
   Cargo flight movements for the month rose 13.2 percent from last year to 1,125 cargo flights.
