Protrans opens center in Milwaukee

The third-party logistics provider has service centers in Canada, the United States and Mexico.    Third-party logistics services provider ProTrans opened a new center in Milwaukee, Wis. Monday.
   The facility offers eight dock doors and provides expanded coverage across the north-central United States.
   “In opening the Milwaukee facility ProTrans is able to continuously work volumes in both Milwaukee and the Chicago area (Markham IL). Previously, the Wisconsin business would go to Markham and be processed there the following morning,” Protrans’ Director of Consolidation Operations John Ousely said in a statement. “This facility allows us to process our customers’ business as soon as it gets back to the center and be shipped to our service centers up to 10 hours earlier each day.”
   Based out of Indianapolis, Protrans has service centers in Canada, the United States and Mexico.
