New Vine Logistics acquires wine shipper Wrap-it

New Vine Logistics acquires wine shipper Wrap-it Napa, Calif.-based New Vine Logistics, a direct-to-consumer shipper for about 200 California wineries, announced Monday the acquisition of Wrap-It Transit, a wine industry shipping and storage firm with more than 60 wineries as clients.
   Financial details between the two privately held companies were not disclosed.
   Wrap-It will continue to operate at its 50,000-square-foot facility in American Canyon, during the transition until June. Ten Wrap-It employees will transition to New Vine.
   NVL currently operates a 140,000-square-foot distribution center in American Canyon.
   Ted Apostolou, Wrap-It president and chief executive officer, was named executive vice president of business development at New Vine. Apostolou still runs Canyon Road Wine Storage, a division of Wrap-It started after the expansion to Wrap-It’s current location several years ago.
