Smith will replace Roger Samways, who has become managing director of global accounts and strategy.
Smith will lead the team of European sales, customer service and general sales agents from the AA Cargo London Heathrow office. She previously working for an international carrier, serving in multiple regional and global account management positions.
David Kerr, managing director AA Cargo sales and marketing for Europe, said Smith will cover the United Kingdom, Netherlands, Ireland and Nordics markets.
